Smitty’s is one of those places that people go to drink. I wouldn’t go there alone, not because I am afraid, but because of what you are saying if you are a woman and you walk into that bar solo. That being said, it is a loved place, with pool tables, a long bar, and bartenders who will listen and pour you as many drinks as it takes.
